Sometimes there is a moment of peace at home. It is usually when both kids are reading. Malia was adorable today in the fuzzy chair, so interested in the Dumbo book.

Why are we "The Hapa's"? Hapa in Hawaiian means half. I'm a hapa girl, half Chinese. Together we are the Hapa's, half Hanson and half Parks. The "ha" is pronounced like something is funny, ha, ha, ha. The "pa" is pronounced like the "pa" in papa.
