I heart baba

Kekoa loves his baba so much. Even though he is still my "growth" (attached to mama), it melts my heart to see him with his baba. In the morning, Kekoa now knows that baba needs some extra sleep. We try to sneak out and let him catch a few more zzzz's, while we play, read, and eat breakfast. Some mornings, I tell Kekoa to go in and show his baba a book, or his toy, or whatever it is and Kekoa will go to the door, push it wide open, and say "BABA"...super excited to see Scott!
Scott usually calls from work when we are eating dinner. Kekoa hears the phone, his face lights up as he says, "BABA". Actually, whenever my phone makes any sound, he thinks it is Scott. He'll blow Scott kisses too.
After he takes a bath, Kekoa will often yell for Scott. I think he wants Scott to come get him and dry him off. I have to explain that baba is at work.
At the playground, Kekoa wanted his baba to go down the slide with him. So cute!
Scott is the best baba ever! :)

Race you baba...



Kekoa can now go down the "big kids" slide, all by himself! Quite scary for mama, but quite thrilling for Kekoa!
