Wildwood park

Yesterday, Kekoa and I went to a new park in Saratoga called Wildwood. Well, new for us. It was just a 10 minute drive away down Highway 9, which is so pretty, lined with huge trees. The park is nestled off one of the streets of downtown. We were surrounded by tall trees and a hillside that Kekoa will love to climb all around when he is a bit older.
Kekoa was super excited explore someplace new. I thought he would beeline for the play area, especially since that is where all the kids were. He actually spent most of the time there running back and forth on the wooden boardwalk. He was also fascinated by the huge pieces of eucalyptus tree bark that were scattered all over the ground. I explained to him that it was the tree bark that had fallen off. He was very concerned and picked up a piece and brought it over to the tree! He then tried to give it back to the tree! He also did the same thing with a stick he found! It was really adorable!
