snacking

I bought this handy little contraption way before Kekoa was ready for it. It has been used as a toy and basically just taking up space. I was wondering if I had wasted money, but the time has come for snacking! It is perfect for Kekoa. I fill it up with healthy snacks and he can munch away. We have to be careful though because he likes to just keep stuffing his mouth. He hasn't quite figured out that it is ok to first chew, then swallow, then get more food. He wants it all in there at the same time.
If Kekoa is not in his highchair, I can put it down on top of a kitchen chair, at his level, and he'll come into the kitchen and grub when he's hungry! Perfect!
This little snacking container is in the shape of a pineapple, comes with a lid, and the green "leaf" part (not shown) is for dips and things that need to stay cold. If it is put in the fridge, it will keep things cold for awhile! Pretty snazzy ha? In case any of you are interested, it is made by Zak Designs. I highly recommend it!

Hmmm, what do we have here? some super sweet cooked carrots, savory black beans, homemade turkey meatloaf, steamed broccoli and zucchini, and juicy blueberries!
