I love living so close to the beach...of course I would love to live closer, but I can't complain. Today was our Thursday Fun Day and we (Kekoa and I) all voted to go to the beach. I wasn't so nervous taking them by myself this time. The first time I took them was such a success that I had high hopes again. It was gorgeous there, 75 degrees and no crowds. The only bummer thing was I forgot the beach umbrella and the lifeguard tower was no longer out, which meant no shade for us. I was able to make a little bit of shade with the stroller.
We still had a great time and of course indulged in ice cream before heading home. I am super excited because we no longer have to drive downtown to get ice cream. The Picnic Basket, which is across the street from the beach, has kid size cones now. :)
