It is pretty great to be able to cross camping off our summer bucket list already!!
We were in Big Sur all weekend and it was just awesome. We met the DeMilta's there and a whole bunch of their friends. It was great. The weather was very cool and foggy, which was welcomed (it was over 100 degrees at home). I must remember though to bring warmer clothes for us the next time we camp. There were so many kids for Kekoa to play with and it was amazing to see him out of his shell. He was so social, playing on his own, talking to the kids he didn't even know...just amazing.
He was filthy the entire time too, rolling in the dirt, sitting in the dirt to make "chocolate ice cream"...pretty great stuff since he usually avoids getting dirty.
How did Malia do you might ask? She did so awesome...took her naps when she was supposed to, slept through the night, it was like we were at home or something. She loved the pack n' play, and was actually upset that we weren't exiting the tent quick enough, when it was her nap time.
We just can't wait to camp again in August!!
Friday, Day 1....

| me and my little man enjoying some sunshine. We waded out to this rock, the water was waist high on Kekoa. |
This stage was endless entertainment for the kids. Malia was having a ball with the big kids.
Kekoa couldn't wait to roast marshmallows.
