Look what I made!
I have always wanted to make a tall cake, a real cake and thought what better occasion than my baby girl's first birthday. I have been on Pinterest a whole lot, getting a lot of ideas and inspiration. My friend Julie was my real inspiration and told me it wouldn't be hard to make and there were a lot of tutorials on you tube...so, I dove in. Julie was right, it wasn't hard to make, just a little time consuming. I did have a great time making this cake though, especially once I got the hang of making the swirls.
The inside was a yummy banana and blueberry cake. It tasted more like a banana bread. I will definitely make it again.
