Kekoa's screaming every night at bedtime seams to have passed for the moment. The past week he has been great. I had a lightbulb moment, of course Kekoa was acting out...we have been traveling so much and his schedule was all out of whack. I just couldn't figure out what had happened to our mellow, sweet little boy...but he is back.
Tonight he totally melted my heart.
His 3 favorite bedtime stories right now are Dumbo, Freight Train, and Thomas. When I read Dumbo to him, he gets very upset and emotional when Dumbo is separated from his mama and then tries to go visit her. He will turn and give me a hug or a kiss with a fake little cry. Tonight after I read "Mrs. Jumbo loved her baby", Kekoa turned to me, said "love" and put his little arms around me. It was the sweetest thing ever and I don't want to forget.
