hike with my monkey
This morning Kekoa and I went for a little hike to "find peacocks". We went to our usual spot. Kekoa was super excited to be outside, looking for sticks and digging holes in the dirt. We don't make it very far on our hike, maybe 1/2 mile round trip, but he is in heaven the whole time. The best part of the hike for him today was "fu fu mao mi" (petting the cat). It is nice to be back home and going to our favorite spots.
Why are we "The Hapa's"? Hapa in Hawaiian means half. I'm a hapa girl, half Chinese. Together we are the Hapa's, half Hanson and half Parks. The "ha" is pronounced like something is funny, ha, ha, ha. The "pa" is pronounced like the "pa" in papa.
