Bike ride in Bend
This morning we were on our own again, our last day in Bend. We went for a really fun bike ride this morning, out towards the Old Mill. There is a trail that follows the Deschutes River. Kekoa was so excited to be on a bike ride with both his mama and his baba. On the way back though, he cried, all he wanted was his mama to hold him, "mama bao bao" he kept saying over and over again. "No helmet". Kekoa didn't want to leave the park, not one little bit!
Why are we "The Hapa's"? Hapa in Hawaiian means half. I'm a hapa girl, half Chinese. Together we are the Hapa's, half Hanson and half Parks. The "ha" is pronounced like something is funny, ha, ha, ha. The "pa" is pronounced like the "pa" in papa.
