What a special treat today...baba was off from work. He's actually been off for almost a week now. It has been so wonderful to have him home. We haven't all spent this much time together since our vacation to Hawaii! This afternoon, the weather wasn't the best, but we really wanted to get outside. We had grand plans to take Kekoa to Bachman park, but the skies were looking a little black. We decided to just walk around the neighborhood and ended up at Petco. Who needs to go to Monterey Bay Aquarium when you've got Petco?? (kidding)
Kekoa loved all the animals there. I headed straight for the guinea pigs, since I love them, and really want one. Kekoa thought they were super cute too, I think he wants one too. :) He was entranced with the birds and of course all the fish. The tanks were right at the perfect height for him to see. Once he spotted some "big boys" climbing on the step stool, he had to give it a try too...of course!!
