eclipse

Tonight may be our last dinner as a family of three. It was the most delicious dinner, BBQ ribs (which I have been craving), grilled teryiaki marinated artichokes from farmer's market, grilled zucchini, and macaroni salad. I was going to make a pound cake too, but decided that would be way too much work.
As we were sitting outside, enjoying our delicious dinner, Scott commented on how weird the lighting was. It was getting dark and it was only 6:00. It was really strange, like a huge shadow was being cast in the backyard. Then I remembered, there was supposed to be an eclipse. I was listening to NPR the other day and they were talking about it, but it didn't register that it was today. Scott grabbed his camera and got some cool shots of the eclipse. It was pretty eerie!
