a night alone

Scott and I had a wonderful day and evening together. Yes, we miss Kekoa very much, but it was nice to have some time alone together. We went for an awesome hike, almost to the top of Mission Peak. It was so misty on the way up, very refreshing, and the view was gorgeous. We haven't done this hike in years and actually can't wait to bring Kekoa up too. I was very proud of myself for hiking up so far and being 6 months pregnant!

We headed out to downtown LG for a fancy dinner at James Randall. We have been wanting to go to this restaurant FOREVER. The food was delicious and I just loved being out with my best friend for such a special meal.
My favorite part of the meal was the dessert, of course...a chocolate mousse with carmel and roasted peanuts....so delicious.

All gussied up and ready to go!


Our monkey comes home today. We can't wait to see him and hear all about how much fun he had at Pop Pop's!
