Kekoa has started saying "yes", not yeah or mmmm hmmmm, but "yes". It is so cute and still catches Scott and I off guard when it comes out of his mouth. It is our new favorite thing that he says.
These are probably Kekoa's favorite words to say, "I want my mommy". It is the sweetest sound, especially when it comes with huge hugs and smoochies. Sometimes when he wakes up at night, I hear "I want my mommy". Phases like this one are the ones that I never want Kekoa to grow out of! :)
"I was freaking out. I say, I want my mommy, where my mommy" Kekoa telling me how he was acting when his baba was putting him down for a nap.
"Don't worry, I save you mama. I got you." Kekoa has been telling me this the last couple of nights, as he has his arms hugging around my neck. He doesn't want me to fall into the crack between his bed and the wall.
"I need my bib" Each time Kekoa sits down to eat, he tells me this. He won't start eating until he is wearing his bib!
"Where are you mommy?" We got a book today from the library called, "Mama, Where are You? We read it tonight before bed and while I was putting him to sleep, he kept repeating, "Where are you mama?" I would tell him, "I am running across the Golden Gate Bridge with Kekoa", then he would ask it again. I would make up another answer. He kept going, asking over and over until I told him, "Mama is going to sleep with Kekoa." It was so cute.
