New discoveries...

Cutie baby feet! Kekoa is discovering his chubby toes!
As hard as it is with Kekoa's erratic sleeping, this is still the best job in the whole world. Kekoa just melts my heart. I'm sure I am not the only parent to think this, but I wish I could slow time down....have more time to enjoy this special baby period of Kekoa's life. It is passing by way too fast. I can't believe he is already almost 5 months old!!
Kekoa is an extremely happy and mellow baby. Scott and I are so lucky to have such a silly little baby!

Kekoa's little European outfit! Thank you Auntie Cassie. I got so many compliments today while wearing my new duds!

Yesterday we had a playdate and it was the first time Kekoa really payed attention to other babies. He was really noticing all the babies and checking them out! Later that afternoon, we went next door to visit Auntie Cassie and Ava...he couldn't keep his eyes off of Ava! He was in such a great mood at Auntie Cassie's house, laughing and being silly on my lap.

Today, I was handing him his Sophie the Giraffe and he actually reached both of his hands out to grab it!! Amazing! He was having a grand 'ol time sitting in his swing, playing with Sophie. Some babies fall asleep in the swing, but Kekoa just likes to play in it. That is OK, we are glad that he likes the swing now! He now has another place to play!
Another amazing thing happened today in the bath. Kekoa was sitting up on my belly and really noticed his feet. I've been putting his feet to his mouth and tickling his feet and tonight it really clicked! The past few days, in the mornings, he has been kind of pulling on one foot, while in his pj's, but not really that interested in it. In the tub tonight, he couldn't stop staring at his feet and pulling on both of them. He even leaned forward to try and put his toes in his mouth! He couldn't keep his hands off of them. It was so adorable. When I kiss his feet or tickle them, he just cracks up!
Kekoa also loves to play peek-a-boo with his burp clothes or any type of blanket. When you put it over his face and then take it off, he just has the biggest smile and is laughing up a storm. So cute, so cute, so cute.
He is also really into playing with his stuffed animals, Lulu and Buzz, the giraffes. He talks to them, smiles and laughs with them, and of course loves to get kisses from them.

Playing with Lulu before bedtime...
