A very fun weekend!

Kekoa chillin' in his NorCal onesie!

Wow, we had a big weekend. Since Scott had to work last weekend, on my birthday, we celebrated this past weekend instead. Saturday, we all went to Santa Cruz. It was Kekoa's first trip to the ocean and he was asleep in the Moby. He has been getting over a cold and has been very fussy, so we were happy he was getting some much needed sleep. We had lunch at our favorite sushi restaurant, Pink Godzilla in Capitola! Yummy! It was my first time having sushi in a long time and it was soooo delicious. Kekoa slept for most of the meal, so Scott and I were both able to eat.
Our plan was to go for a walk along West Cliff Drive, but when we got there, Kekoa had just fallen asleep in his car seat. We didn't want to wake him up, so we drove along the beautiful coast instead and then headed home.

West Cliff Drive

Sunday is farmer's market day. Instead of either Scott or I going alone, we packed up our little cutie and all strolled to the market together. He was wrapped up in the Moby again and it is just funny to see people staring at me, trying to figure out what I am carrying. Scott was pushing the baby stroller, but no baby inside. We use the stroller to carry all our fruits and vegetables. Over the summer, when I was hugely pregnant, we always bought our white peaches from a really sweet lady at the market. She has been dying to see Kekoa, so it was so nice for her to finally see him. She gave us some deliciously, sweet crimson grapes as a treat.

What a great weekend!
