My first birthday as a mom!

This was a different birthday this year! The celebration began on Friday. My mom had us all over for dinner at her house. We had noodles, which is the Chinese custom for long life, along with roast beef and asparagus...it was all very delicious. My auntie picked out a scrumptious white cake with strawberries. Unfortunately, Kekoa wasn't feeling too good and we had to dash off very quickly to head back to my dad's. I could only scarf down a few bites of cake.

My actual birthday, which was Saturday, was a very relaxing day. Kekoa must have know it was my birthday because he was so good all day long. I was even able to eat dinner with everyone else (I'm usually nursing when everyone is eating!) We had a BBQ at my dad's and all kind of yummy side dishes. It is always entertaining watching Kaiwei and Jordan play. Both little boys are very excited for Kekoa to grow up and play with them. Jordan is even saying Kekoa's name, it is so cute! The only sad thing was that Scott had to work and couldn't join us. :(
