No more shield!
Great news...Kekoa is completely off the nipple shield! Yahoo! It has been over a week now. I actually put it on yesterday because he is little sick and was being super fussy while nursing. He made this face, like YUCK MOM, when trying to nurse with the shield on! It is so liberating to not have to use the shield. Scott and I are both very excited about this. It is also amazing to watch Kekoa really learn how to "eat"! I am now able to nurse him in our bed, lying down at night, which allows me to actually get some sleep. He can nurse and then fall right back asleep. Being overtired is not fun!

That is great! Congrats a huge bonus. I was just thinking about you today. I hope you are well. Quick leaves on Friday and then I will have some time to give you a call. We are trying to jam everything that needs to be done in the last couple of days. Eek!
