Day off with daddy

Scott had the day off Tuesday. We really cherish the days he has off, they seem few and far between. It was such a gorgeous day and we spent most of it outside...the best kind of day.
After Kekoa's 15 minute morning nap, yes, 15 minutes, we got on our bikes and headed for the park and then lunch at the Purple Onion.
Our favorite park these days is Bachman park. It is so relaxing there, I love all the big, majestic trees that surround the playground. This is where we watched the Cat's Hill race from on Saturday. Kekoa was feeling like a daredevil on Saturday, he was trying to go head first down the slide!! I wanted him to show off his skills in front of dad, but he wasn't feeling it on Tuesday. He did however have the best time in the swing....he's never had so much fun in the swing. Scott scooted him forward to he wasn't leaning back and he just loved it. We actually went to the park twice on Tuesday. He had a much better time after we came home from lunch and he took a long nap.

Sliding down with daddy...
Going down on my tummy. Saturday Kekoa couldn't get enough of this. He kept doing it over and over, not so on Tuesday. I don't think he could slide as well with short sleeves on.
I'm stuck mama!
He loves standing up on the edge of the slide. He likes to pull himself up on the bar.

Oooh, the swings, so much fun!!
Peek a boo daddy....

I love this!
My favorite picture of the day...

Kekoa had a great time exploring the tanbark too.

Hmmm, I wonder what it'll taste like?

Not so good!
Mama to the rescue.
Sliding down wasn't his thing, but climbing up the slide was. He did it all by himself! Our little daredevil!
I made it!
Hanging on for dear life!

Uh, oh, feeling like I'm losing my grip!

Hmm, what's over there?
Climbing up again. Notice, mama's hands are off, I'm on my own!

Even though he had only napped for 15 minutes, Kekoa was all giggles and smiles at the Purple Onion. He really loves going to the Purple Onion, has the best time there. I think it is because he has been going there since he was 3 months old. He straddled the high chair so he could check out the customers eating inside. There were big, loud trucks driving by which fascinated him too. We all got to eat lunch! Kekoa covered his Sophie with his lunch! Yum, yum!

Hmmm, big trucks!

Hmmm, what are they eating in there?

What a super duper fun day! I wish daddy had every day off! :)

Kekoa was riding the high chair like a horse. Of course when I pulled out the camera he stopped.

Our little baby having so much fun...

Be careful...his laugh is contagious!
