1.5 mile bike ride

I am so proud of Kekoa.  He rode all the way to the Pet Food Express from our house...a 1.5 mile bike ride!  I walked with the stroller just in case he was too tired to ride anymore (he did try to ride home for a bit but then was tired and sat in the stroller). He actually almost gave up, when we were so close from the goal.  I told Kekoa he just had a little bit more to go, he had his snack and was determined to finish the ride.

Our destination was the pet adoption day at Pet Food Express.  Kekoa was in heaven with the cats, I really wish we could get him a cat...it would be so good for him.  We stayed in the kitty room for a long time, he even played with Chase, his favorite cat.

Tonight, when I was laying down with Kekoa, he broke down in tears and told me that he was so sad.  He gets so sad when we see the cats and he can't bring one home...it broke my heart.  When he's a little bit older we will revisit getting a cat.
