I've taken Kekoa out running twice before today. The first time was magical and he fell asleep (our baby doesn't really sleep in strollers or car seats)! I thought, great, now I can always go running because I can take the baby. I was very wrong. The second time I took him running, he screamed right from the start. I gave him some time to see if he would fall asleep, but by mile 1 I knew that wasn't going to happen. Since I had forgotten to bring any sort of baby carrier, Scott came to my rescue and met me in the park with the Ergo so I could put Kekoa to sleep! It was a big let down!
Today was going on day #4 of not going for a run. I was feeling really icky and needed my run, so after Kekoa's afternoon nap, I put him in the B.O.B and headed out for a run. I still can't believe how long it takes to get out of the house with a baby...30 minutes later, after nursing, playing a bit, and a diaper change, we headed out for a run. I was so thrilled because Kekoa did awesome! He chilled in the stroller, playing with his Ugly Doll, and checking out the scenery for over 40 minutes!! Yay Kekoa! It felt so good to run!

yay! so glad you got a good run in :) Good job Kekoa!
