keeping up

Kekoa changes so much every day that is is hard to keep up with all the new things he is doing.

We have been taking him to the park. He seems to be enjoying the swing more, but is still more interested in looking around at the trees.

He is really good at feeding himself. It is the cutest thing to watch him with the bottle, how he holds it and tries to aim the nipple into his mouth.

Biting down...

Kekoa is really interested in food, loves to watch us eat. I will start him on solids really soon, maybe next week. I'm excited to start him on solids, but also a little bummed. It just means he is getting bigger and I wish he could stay a baby a little longer. I'm also not really looking forward to the extra work of giving him real food! :) We are finally getting the hang of things and now we have to switch it up. That is what everyone with kids says, once you get used to one thing, it will change...constant change!

Kekoa is a champ now at sitting up. He stills need to be supported, but has a really strong back and is able to lean down now and bring himself back up. Scott has him sit in his hands and lifts him up. It is absolutely the cutest thing to watch, Kekoa laughs so hard!

UP!

He LOVES to stand now (supported of course). His favorite place to stand is at his jungle mat. While standing he grabs at everything and tries to rip it off. Scott gave him a new nickname yesterday, "Bam bam" and it really fits him perfectly.
