Malia was cracking me up this morning. She was being my little model, posing and saying "cheese" each time. Then she would run to the camera to see her picture and then run back and pose for me again. It was really, really funny.

going for a space ride
Both kids insisted on getting inside the basket this morning. It was a space ship. I was so happy they were playing nice and no one was fighting or crying (that would be Malia). It was so cute to watch them...definitely the best part of the morning.

Wednesday and Friday mornings are my time with Malia, just the two of us. She is an amazing little girl and I love getting to know her without her brother around. She is so different when it is just the two of us, way more mellow when she is not trying to keep up with Kekoa.
We have been going for walks after dropping Kekoa off at preschool and then the park afterwards. Today we went to downtown Los Gatos and went walking there. Afterwards she had a blast walking around downtown on her own. We spent about 15 minutes in this spot so she could collect all the acorns around. I was so happy I found the little plastic snack bag for her. Her little hands could only contain about 3 acorns so she kept dropping them. She was thrilled to be able to put them in the bag, so content there wasn't a big brother around that was going to take them!! After she filled the bag, she had just as much fun dumping them all out. So different from her brother who would have stashed them away (he is a little bit of a pack rat).
I love my mornings with my girlie.
