Sunday

What a lovely Sunday we had together.  After Malia's morning nap, we headed out for lunch at Purple Onion and then a hike to our favorite tree.  I was hoping Malia would sleep the whole way on the hike, but this was not the case.  I guess she is starting to get to old for this and wants to check everything out.  She finally did fall asleep for a little toward the end of the hike, for about 20 minutes...she didn't want to miss out on any of the action.

We were so proud of Kekoa, it was the first time he hiked the entire train all by himself...no riding on Baba's shoulders today.  Great job monkey!

Kekoa had pesto pizza from Pizza My Heart, which he gobbled up.

Kekoa helped Baba wash the car today...boy did it need it after our trip to Reno!

He loved having his own rag and bucket to get as wet as possible.  In the end, he was completely drenched and had to change his outfit.  Oh, and in case you are wondering about the hat...he is stretching it out for his baby sister!

A very long drive back from Reno today, but we made it.
We stopped in Auburn for lunch and to walk around the old town there.  It is a really cute town and the lunch we had was delicious, at a brewery in town.  Kekoa wanted his picture taken with this tin man, he called it a robot.

Grandma and Grandpa gave Malia this dress for Christmas.  She looks like such a big girl.  Kekoa wanted to snap some pictures with her this morning before we were leaving Reno.
