Belgatos hike

We went on one of our favorite little hikes this morning. Kekoa was getting tired ( I really think it is because his shoes are too small) so he headed back to the playground with Scott. Malia and I headed up higher to the view. She had a nice nap and I had a nice workout, sweating up the hill.

chillin' in the backyard

Malia joined us today in the backyard while Scott grilled and Kekoa played. She is getting stronger and stronger on her tummy. She is also getting very interested in toys. I gave her a new teether today and she was trying so hard to get it in her mouth.

It was such a nice and relaxing afternoon. We all love it when Scott is home on the weekends. I got to lay on the blanket, with my two kiddos, and just truly enjoy the moment. I didn't have to worry about making dinner and it was so wonderful. Now if only we could win the lottery so Scott could be home all the time. :)

Wait a second, what is that in front of me?

Oh, I'm so tired.

SF zoo

Kekoa has been wanting to go to the zoo since we got back from Hawaii. He would say "mommy, the next Baba day (Scott's day off), let's go see polar bears at the zoo." So, today that is what we did.

It was a gorgeous day in San Francisco. The past couple of times we went to the zoo, it has been so foggy and cold. Not today, the sun was shining and the animals were happy. The polar bears and grizzly bears were even roaming.

We got to see Annika and Ben for a little while. Ben is 18 months old and the same size as Kekoa. It was hilarious to see our little guy with these two super tall kiddos. Kekoa always has so much fun when he sees Annika. Today he was a little confused who his friend was, Ben is his size but he has always played with Annika.

We had a very fun day at the SF Zoo. Kekoa loved seeing all the animals and riding the super fast zoo train. It was so nice to all be together.

Malia's first trip to the SF zoo.

The African savannah...

Look Ben, it is right here!

Where's Annika? (You can see her pink arm)

There it is, the polar bear!

Kekoa wanted a picture with this Grizzly.

Here we go...on the super fast zoo train!

Kekoa pointing out all the animals.

Hello hippo!

While Scott took Kekoa to the loo, I had a little photo session with my little girl, while we watched the gorillas watching us.

Poor Kekoa. He was having so much fun running around and around. Right when I was going to tell him to slow down, he fell hard on the rocks. He skinned up his little nose pretty bad.

Our chunky monkey girl. Of course she had a blow out right when we were going to leave.
