Hanging out in Haleiwa

What a fun and relaxed day we had today. It wasn't a beach day, actually rained pretty hard, so we headed to the North Shore town of Haleiwa for some shopping, lunch, and of course, shave ice. Both kids did so great. Malia napped most of the day and Kekoa loved all the attention. He is a really great shopper, doesn't really touch things and loves looking at all the "stuff". I think it is because he never goes shopping.
My favorite store, the Growing Keiki, was overflowing with adorable clothes, especially for little girls. I got a few cute outfits for Malia and Kekoa picked out a crab and a sea horse bath toys. It sure is fun to have a little girl to shop for! :)
Lunch was all of our favorite part of the day. We revisited Banzai Sushi and it was just as good as the last time we were in Hawaii. Kekoa devoured his fish katsu (we called it fish sticks), which was great since all he has been eating on this trip is either nothing or maybe some sweet bread.

The kiddos slept in the car on the way home and we hit the pool for the rest of the afternoon...another perfect day here in paradise! :)

Matching green shirts!

Jammin' on the piano at Growing Keiki.

Yum, fish sticks (really fish katsu) with my cool guy shades on!

Malia slept so we could all eat. Thank you baby girl!

super Kekoa

Malia and her rolls...she is so yummy!

Kekoa's highlight today at the beach was launching himself off the little ledge onto the beach towel.

more beach time

We went to the other side of Lagoon 1 today. Kekoa had fun playing in the sand and Malia had fun playing with her little blankie.

Pineapple Express

A train ride in Hawaii??? We definitely can't pass that up!
So off we went to the Dole plantation for a ride on the Pineapple Express. Of course our little monkey loved it.

Malia doing a baby shaka!

Malia's crazy hair. :)
