holiday photo shoot

This morning was the best. We met Auntie Cassie for a photo shoot at the most beautiful spot. I love this orchard. Last year I brought Kekoa here to take photos myself.
Kekoa was super excited to see her and in the best mood for photos....busted up chin and all. We can't wait to see her photos, but here are some we took with our new camera. I love the last photos Scott took, it looks like snow!

So in love with his Paulie bear.

big brother Kekoa

Look who is going to be a big brother!!!
He is very excited to say the least about the baby zamboni (what we call the baby to be)
I am now 13 weeks along and have a baby blog, well more like a pregnancy journal. (www.babyzamboni.blogspot.com)
Due date is May 29.
We find out if it is a little girl zamboni or boy zamboni on December 16th.
Kekoa currently wants a "di di" (little brother). Scott and I are perfectly happy with a boy or girl.
We are just thrilled to be adding a new member to our family of 3!

wish

We were driving home and Kekoa spotted a twinkling star in the sky.
I told him,
star light, star bright, first star I see tonight. wish I may, wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.
What do you wish for Kekoa?

He thought about it for a second and replied...
"Santa" :)

3 amigos

Kekoa loves his friends Kasper and Milan.
We met them today at El Quito park and the boys played and played...until Kekoa scraped his chin on a stick. :(
They are the cutest.

so good at hanging!

down the baby slide...

and the "big scary slide" (kekoa LOVED this one and couldn't stop going back for more!)

throwing leaves is so much fun...
let me try that again!

no napper

Today is a no nap day for Kekoa.
While I should be slightly perturbed since all I want to do is shut my eyes and take a nap, I am actually giggling right now, watching my little man in the video monitor. He is so busy in his room, rearranging pillows, making a pillow fort, putting different stuffed animals on the bed and then off again, climbing on and off his bed, all while talking to himself.
It is pretty hard to be mad at such cuteness and I have to give Kekoa props for staying in his room! :)
