Halloween music class

So many opportunities to be an astronaut this week and Kekoa wants no part of any of them. :(
Today was the Halloween music class. Kekoa seemed so excited once again, to put on this costume. It was adorable when he told me, "not yet mama", when I asked him to put it on before we headed out the door...so we waited until we were at music class. That is when he decided, "no mama". Oh well!
Music class was the best today, not only were there costumes and silly Halloween songs, but Kaiwei and pop pop came! It was so much fun to have them in class. Kaiwei was dressed as a "scary dragon". I don't know...he looks more cute than scary to me! :)

Kekoa thought it was the funniest thing to have Kaiwei following him around as they walked in a circle...he just loved it.

Kaiwei showing off his Halloween "tattoo" from Miss Elizabeth.

I know this is blurry, but you can still see how excited Kekoa and Kaiwei are for playing limbo. They just couldn't get enough of running under the streamers.

Kekoa is so cute. He thought it was pretty amazing to keep running around and around in circles.

After music class is one of Kekoa's favorite parts of the whole week...getting to play in front of the library with his friends. It is a wonderful way for the kiddos to burn off some steam before heading home for dinner.

Halloween party at school

Kekoa was so excited this morning to go to school. I asked him, during breakfast, what he was going to get to wear. He said, "astronaut". I thought for sure he would sport his astronaut costume, but when it came down to it, he refused to wear it. I even brought it to school, but he still wouldn't wear it. By default, his costume today was a tourist. :)

He had such a great time at school today, very busy talking and playing outside, driving all the cars. We stayed outside the entire time, only coming in because it was snack and story time..there is no way Kekoa would miss either one of those!

The cutest panda on the block, Luca.

I love how Luca just keeps sliding down.

snack time is so cute, the little chairs and all the little people eating together! :)

Kekoa likes to brush his hands off while he eats. He doesn't like crumbs on them.

Let's see...this seat looks good!

Listening so intently.

pumpkin patch with Kasper and Milan

Kekoa decided today wasn't a nap day :(
So sad for mama.
Even without his nap, he was in great spirits and super excited to see his friends, Kasper and Milan. Milan has been in Japan for the last 5 weeks so we were really looking forward to seeing him again.
This pumpkin patch had jumpy houses, which the boys had fun in. But I'm pretty sure that Kekoa liked pulling the wagon around and being pulled in the wagon the best.

Kasper had the best time arranging pumpkins! It was really cute.

Ardenwood pumpkin patch

We headed over to Fremont, bright and early, for our annual trip to Ardenwood. We got to the pumpkin patch before 9:30...a record for us. Guess who was there to greet us? Kaiwei and Jiawei. Kaiwei was SO happy to see us, came running up. I love this pumpkin patch. There is something so peaceful about how the pumpkins are all laid out, all the different shapes and colors. I also just love pumpkins.
The boys had a great time together, going for a wagon ride and loved pulling the wagon together. The highlight of Kekoa's time at the pumpkin patch was the tractor ride!
Let me also just say how hard it is to get these boys to look at the camera at the same time...impossible!

Kekoa, 2 months old and his first trip to the pumpkin patch!

Who is this cutie pie? Kaiwei, the first year we went to Ardenwood when the boys were babes.

Time flies...

pumpkins that way mama!

two brothers...so different! :)

"yook Kaiwei, tractors" (look Kaiwei, tractors)

Scott joins in on the fun! :)

tractors are this way mama!
