music time again

After a 4 week summer break, music class has started again! Yahoo! Kekoa is shining in music class. He loves it so much....loves Miss Elizabeth, our fabulous teacher, loves seeing his friends, loves the songs.
We look forward to music each and every week.

Kekoa loves to show Miss Elizabeth his favorite trains. He brings her one each week.

Kekoa behind the blue veil.

Kekoa's friend Kasper wants a shaker too!

dancing with Noah.

All the kids love it when this blue tub comes out. It is filled with fun instruments...shakers, drums, drumsticks, all kinds of different ways to make music.

Evil Kenevil

Kekoa is doing his own stunts now. I was cooking in the kitchen and I hear Kekoa laughing in his room. A few minutes later I hear "mama, mama, yook", (mama mama look). When I go back to his room, he shows me what he has been up to...climbing up onto his stool, to get on the bed, and then leaping off and crashing into Freddy. He thinks this is hilarious and does it over and over again, so proud of himself.

cooling off at the beach

What a treat for me today, Kekoa and Scott drove over to Santa Cruz with me this morning. They played for a bit while I was at work. The plan was to all go to the beach together after I was done. It was nice and cool, a welcome relief from the heat we have been having. Kekoa is the best beach baby. He finds his spot on the blanket, puts his sand toys on the sand, right next to the blanket and just plays there the whole time. He is careful not to get sand on the blanket, or as we call it, the " no sand zone" :)
Like I said....the perfect beach baby!
I enjoyed having the company and we all enjoyed spending some time together before baba had to go to work!

check out my grip

Scott and I looked over at Kekoa coloring and noticed how well he was holding his crayons! He is still deciding if he wants to be left handed or right handed.

school is fun

Kekoa loves going to school. He gets the biggest smile on his face when you ask him about school!
I am so proud of Kekoa. Today at school he didn't even play with the train table at all! He was so busy exploring all the other toys. We made animal shapes with play dough and he drew baba another picture. He played in the kitchen and completed many puzzles. He was also very busy checking out all the different cars and busses.
He loves snack time. Today was raspberries and this thin lemon wafer type cookies. He gobbled up two of those...a real treat!
During story time, he sits in his little chair the whole time and listens very intently to teacher Mary.
When we get home from school, Kekoa's whole face lights up when he sees his baba and gets to tell him about all the fun things he did!
