Playdate with Van

We haven't seen Van and his baby sister Audrey in months, since she was a newborn. Audrey is now 7 months old and such a little flirt. She is adorable.
Kekoa was very excited to go to a "friends" house, couldn't wait to go. The two boys were adorable, playing in the water table and eating popsicles. The popsicles were a huge hit. Kekoa was super sad when his melted off the stick, he kept saying "bye bye". Van's daddy hosed Kekoa off since he was covered with sticky, red popsicle juice! Van was so cute too, feeding Kekoa his snack, Cheerios and raisins.
Kekoa's favorite part of the day? " Choo choo Thomas" (Van had Thomas water toys that Kekoa couldn't get enough of), "friend", and "bye bye" (his popsicle)
It was such a great afternoon, very relaxing, watching the boys play and chatting with Van's mama and daddy, Jody and Andy.
We can't wait to see them again. Thank you for such a fun afternoon!

Van actually liked playing in the water table. He kept jumping into it! :)

Kekoa was so funny, leaning back on this wall, enjoying his cold, sweet treat.

Music Together

This morning was so much fun. We went to the free Music Together demo. Not only was the Fremont crew there ( Kaiwei, Papa Beezy, Jiawei, and Auntie Jenny) but so was Gavin! (Kekoa is actually saying Gavin now instead of "ga ga"!)
We were so excited to see everyone. I was greeted with a huge hug and kiss from Kaiwei who was so excited to see his Jie jie (big sister). Kaiwei was cracking us up with his kung fu karate dance moves. It was so nice to have everyone come join us for music class!
I'm not sure if it was because Scott was there, or the Fremont crew, or Gavin, or if it was because we went to a morning music class instead, but Kekoa had so much energy and was so happy. In the afternoon music class, Kekoa is much more mellow and sticks with me the whole class. I might have to rethink the afternoon music class come fall, maybe switch to the morning.

"Hello everybody, so nice to see you".

Kekoa just wanted to smother Jiawei with kisses. Kaiwei's hands are coming in from the right, to smother his baby brother!

Jiawei (little Mackie) loved to play the drums!

Gavin...concerned or having fun? He had a great time! :)

Two little boys that look like they are up to no good! :)

Swim

Today Milan invited us over to the pool where he used to live. The apartment manager is so nice and is going to still let them use the pool. Thank goodness because it was another hot day. Not as hot as yesterday, but still quite warm. I was so proud of Kekoa because he put his face in the water! He hasn't been wanting to do this. He also practiced his kicking.
Of course I forgot my camera, but I did get one picture with my phone of Kekoa playing with these 2 little girls. He loves these two sisters. They were playing so well together, running all over the lawn. Kekoa was so funny because he decided he wanted to be "nunie" and just wanted to wear his sandals and sun hat. The little girls were quite interested in Kekoa being nudie, they kept bending down to look at Kekoa's pee pee! :)
Thank you Milan for letting us come swim with you!

So hot

We came back from Tahoe to such scorching weather. Not a whole lot we can do on these hot days except get in some water! Kekoa was very excited to "yo yong" (swim) after his nap today. I also enjoyed putting my feet in the cool water. We went from freezing cold weather, skipped spring and jumped right into the scorching summer!

A good place to sit

Wednesday, June 15
Kekoa enjoys finding places where he can sit down all by himself. We were getting into the car when he decided it would be better to take a break and sit on the curb. (My car is almost right in front of him.)
