11 months old

What mama? I'm not doing anything!

Remember when Kekoa would fit in his Moses basket and sleep? We put him in it for the first time in a very long time. He laid in it for about a second and then flipped himself over and climbed out!

11 month old hair. It is coming in blond and Kekoa still gets so many compliments!

Such a smiley, happy, little boy.

pincher grab

Scott and I know that Kekoa is good at pinching, great actually. He likes to give us "love" pinches and boy do they hurt!! Tonight at dinner he was showing off his pincher grabbing skills by picking up his food. It is amazing to see him now just using his two fingers, thumb and pointer finger, to grab instead of his "raking" his whole hand to try and grab the food. Now if I could just get him to swallow the food, hmmmm.

Green beans

I took these pictures last week, a day after he turned 11 months old, and forgot to post them. I can't believe how much Kekoa has changed in a week. Something about him has changed, he looks more grown up now or something.
Anyways, it was dinner time and I was eating green beans and thought he might like some too. He sure did have fun biting the green bean and playing with it, but when it came time to swallow, he pushed it all out with his tongue! My favorite part of feeding him was that he was resting his pudgy little foot on my knee and then would kneed it on my knee. So cute.

Out it comes...

Moving moving moving

Saturday we went to Papa Beezy, Auntie Jenny, and Kaiwei's house. Kekoa had an absolute blast. He was all over the place, walking with the push toy, crawling to play with all the new toys. The blue hippo push toy was definitely the hit. He also figured out how to climb the stairs and went all the way to the top, twice!! When he reached the top, he couldn't believe his eyes that there was all these other rooms to discover!
Kaiwei was in heaven too, to have us there. He was like my little shadow, following me around and calling me "Jie Jie" (big sister). He helped me put clothes in the dryer and then wanted to come home with us when we were leaving! He was giving Kekoa all kinds of big hugs and really likes saying Kekoa's name, over and over again. He also loves to say, "Cot", for Scott!
The most amazing part of the day was when Kekoa actually took a nap! Woo hoo! This means we can visit more often and not stress about getting home to put Kekoa to sleep.
What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday! Thank you for the yummy food and company! :)

We even went for a bike ride!
