7 months pics

Kekoa is 7 months old! Can you believe it? I cannot. Kekoa changes so fast, it is hard to keep up with all the new things he can do. I'm predicting he will be really crawling by 8 months. He is pretty good at scooting backwards and turning himself around. He loves to eat everything he has tried, except oatmeal is still not his fave. It is quite rewarding that he likes to eat all the things I have been spending time making. It makes it all worth it. He is really trying to talk and has a very loud voice! He still loves to give hugs and kisses. Scott and I are so lucky to have such a sweet little boy. . Sleep is still challenging, but Kekoa is such an easy baby in every other way, that we really can't complain. We are having a ton of fun being parents and Kekoa has us in awe every day.

Eating pears...
A little tart, but believe it or not, I LOVE pears!
Trying to pick up the big purple ball.
Hanging with my friends. All I want is the sign.

There's that sign again...
Got it!

Kekoa at 2 months old. Look at how the hat fit back then...
and how it fits now!
Kekoa is all boy. He loves to grab the entire farm and tries to put it in his mouth.

So much going on today

Kekoa was just the cutest today.
We had a busy day, getting ready for Papa Beezy's birthday party on Sunday. Here is Kekoa in the Target shopping cart. He looked so small and cute in it. He is a good shopper right now, just looked around and was perfectly content chewing on his Sophie the entire time. I can't tell you how many compliments we got on his hair! Everyone just loves it.

Scott and I were video taping him all day. Here are some to share!

I'm hungry mama!! Kekoa loves to yell "Bababababa" now. Baba is his word for everything.
Kekoa was flipping the page, back and forth, in his book today for the first time. We are proud parents! :)
Kekoa loves Gripe Water. When he sees the blue bottle come out of the fridge, he gets so excited! It is a natural remedy to settle upset tummies and works great. It is so cute, the way he drinks it.
After dinner we had some play time with Gorilla. Oh my goodness, was Kekoa excited to see him or what. He hadn't played with Gorilla all day and just couldn't wait to give him kisses and tell him about all the places he went and things he saw!

While I was getting the bath ready, Kekoa was having a ball pumping his chunka thighs. He also started doing this new thing today with his hands, like he is karate chopping them. I just love those thighs and love squeezing them.

Reading with daddy

I love how Kekoa has his hand resting on his daddy and the look of concentration on his face!
Kekoa loves books so much. He is so engaged when you read him a story. It is the cutest thing when he pumps his legs when it is time to turn the page.

Lunch with Ty

Scott had the day off on Tuesday. Yay! We headed out after Kekoa's morning nap, for an early lunch, with some friends that I met through one of my mommy groups. We have been trying to get together for lunch for months now and decided we better eat together before our boys start walking! Ty and Kekoa have known each other since before birth, so it is so adorable watching them interacting with each other. Kekoa was so excited and couldn't stop jumping up and down on Scott's lap. Since Ty is a bit older, Kekoa learns a lot by watching what he can do. Thanks for a fun lunch date!

Our two cuties!
Look, it's Kekoa's head!
Please don't grab me Ty!
But your head is so cool Kekoa! :)
