Can you see my tooth?
I was changing Kekoa yesterday and while he was laughing away, I noticed his little, sharp, white tooth! It was the first time I could really see it. Can you see it?

Some 6 month pictures
Play time with mama and daddy...

I love how focused Kekoa's face is when he is trying to figure something out. He is really into playing with his toys and concentrates so hard!

Before my bath...look at my thighs. They're my mama's favorite!
I know where the books are kept now and love to pull them all out.
Peek a Boo
Kekoa has always played peek a boo by himself, it is the cutest thing to watch. But now that he is older, he can really pull the blanket over his face and then off again. He even likes to look out of the corner of his eye to see if you are watching before he pulls the blanket off. I took some photos of him today in action. He just laughs and laughs playing peek a boo! He is such a happy baby and was in an exceptionally good mood today. Scott is usually at work Thursday evenings, but is off today, which made Kekoa really happy and he had a visit from his Auntie Tessa which also made him very happy! He was showing her his peek a boo skills while we were at lunch today. She was quite impressed!
Getting ready to pull the blanket over...(don't you love the smile?)

Little Rascal :)
I just love taking pictures of my little man! Here he is with his friend Josephine. Josephine's mama and I had prenatal yoga together. Kekoa is a little out of it in this picture, he just woke up from a nap.
Our little cutie pie after his bath. Kekoa was in such a silly mood after his bath the other day! I couldn't resist snapping some photos of my chunka munka!

I took these photos today. Kekoa was playing with Scott and just laughing so hard. He is such a silly little monkey.

This is the "little rascal" face! I love it when he smiles like this. He is already practicing his cheezy smile! :)

February?
I really can't believe it is February. The weather this week has been unreal...so warm. I have to keep pinching myself that it is winter, but I am in shorts and a tank top! Yesterday we went to Santa Cruz with our friend Tandem and her baby James. Our mission: to hang out on the beach and to find surf for Scott and Tandem.
and this is Tandem...
Can you believe this is the backyard? So awesome. Here we are...James, Tandem, Kekoa and I!
Tandem's grandma lives right on my dream street, Opal Cliff Drive. I used to drive down Opal Cliff Drive when I was in high school and wish I could live on that street! One side of the street, the houses are right on the cliff, with the mighty Pacific Ocean at their feet. That is the side I want to live on and that is the side that Tandem's grandma lives! Her house was so cozy with the amazing view of the ocean. The pictures were all taken from her house! Kekoa and I were able to watch Scott and Tandem surf below. It was truly awesome! I could just watch the ocean for hours, it is so relaxing and good for the soul.
Mission Accomplished: Scott and Tandem had an amazing time surfing. It was just the two of them in the water with really great waves. Scott came out of the water just beaming. I haven't seen that smile in so long, the smile of having a great surf. Tandem also had the best time in the water and also couldn't stop smiling. Scott had to leave before us to go to work, but Tandem and I and the babies hung our for awhile longer to have lunch. We had yummy tuna melts and I picked her grandma's brain about the history of the house and what Opal Cliff Drive was like. I feel so fortunate to live so close to the beach and to have this simply perfect weather!
If you look really close there is a black dot surfing...that is Scott!
