Willow Street

I was feeling brave and took the kids out to dinner tonight after music.  We went with Jessica and Noah too, so I wasn't alone.  Malia actually did great, she ate the whole time and didn't freak out or anything.  It is always nice to have some adult company while eating dinner!

I'm SO hungry, where is my food?

Hmmm, let me see, I would like a meatball and some steamed broccoli.  Thank you.

singing his ABC's

Tonight in the tub, Kekoa lined up all his letters in order and sang the ABC's.  My favorite is when I came back in to check in on him, he had moved a couple of the letters at the end that had been out of order into the correct order.  Such a smartie pants!

knight Kekoa's new helmet

This boy knight really needs a helmet.  He has graduated from the red hamper basket on his head to now wearing Scott's hat, backwards and over his face.  I'm not quite sure what the green theraband is being used for, but I'm sure it serves a very important purpose.

our crazy girl

Malia loves to be silly and crazy, in Chinese we say, "fa fong".  When you stop being crazy with her, she fusses until she gets more.  Her favorite thing right now is when I jump up and down with her in circles...she just can't get enough.

dinner guests

We had Sara, Cole, and Ryan over for dinner tonight.  They have had us over a couple times now and I really wanted to reciprocate.  I can't tell you how nice it is to have some adult conversation over dinner and someone for Kekoa and Malia to play with.  I made Mexican lasagna, a weelicious.com recipe, and it turned out extra good tonight.  Maybe it was because I hadn't made it in awhile.
The boys had a blast playing knights and fighting those darn bad guys.  The babies had fun at the water table and are just so darn cute!  Thanks for coming over guys!

What are those big boys doing back there?
