not a lump anymore

I was getting a little worried about Malia's lack of motivation to move.  She was perfectly content sitting, watching everything.  If we put her on her tummy, she would roll to her back and then fuss, because she was stuck.

Funny how babies can show exponential growth in a very short amount of time.  In the last couple of weeks, Malia has become a mover.  She likes to prop herself way up, in a modified push up and turn all over the rug.  She is scooting backwards and is now never in the same place where I left her.  Whew!  I was trying to get a video of her scooting, which of course didn't happen, but she does turn and gives you a little sample of her fussing (she's hungry).

Emma Prusch Farm

We were long overdue for a visit to this farm, so when Papa Beezy called up asked if we wanted to meet there, the obvious answer was "yes!"

The boys had so much fun on the tractors and Malia even had a turn driving too.  She had a great time watching the chickens and roosters run around.  We had a great time together and makes me wonder why it has taken us so long to come back to this place!
As we were driving home, Kekoa said, "mama, we didn't go to the farm in a long time".

The cows were very friendly today and loved being petted.  Kekoa kept going in for sneak pets on their noses.

No pigs in the pen today, but I see 3 little piggies standing on the gate! :)

"orange park" with Po Po

The plan was to have my mom come out early today so I could go to Costco before work.  Kekoa was really needing some mama time, so the park won...the park is way more fun than Costco anyways.

decorating Po Po's present

Thursday, Valentine's day is my mom's birthday. We were going to see her today, so Kekoa got to decorating the wrapping paper.  I'm not sure though, did he enjoy decorating the paper or coloring his hands more??  Hmmmm....
