Superbowl Sunday

According to Scott, today is an unofficial national holiday.  Hmmmm, well, I was just happy he was home, holiday or not.
We had The Krings over for some food and beer.  Since it was such a gorgeous afternoon and we have two boys that needed to run around, Sara and I took the boys and babies to the park.  The only pictures I got of the afternoon though are of the babies, chowing down.  I am so impressed with baby Ryan, he totally feeds himself, it is pretty amazing.  Maybe Malia will learn some feeding techniques!

Thanks for coming over!!

showing off at the park

Kekoa was showing off all his tricks today at the park.  Malia and I were enjoying watching him.  Asking me, "You see that mama?" and "watch this".  He is growing up so fast and can do so many things at the park now, all by himself.  He loves climbing and jumping and of course, making sure that I saw it happen.  I love the look on his face when he figures something out on his own...he is so proud and his smile just beams.

the cutest face

Malia is making the cutest face ever right now, her lips purse up.  I was able to get it on film, not the full on purse lips, but a mini version.  She is enjoying some yogurt this morning with pureed blueberries.

Malia girl enjoys eating, just like her brother.  She has a party in her high chair with each meal.  It is hard not to snap pictures each time she eats.  I love watching her discover new foods and having fun eating them.

dinner time sillies

chilly willy beach day

We headed over to the beach, thinking that if we left a little later in the day, it would be warmer.  We were wrong.
The beach was breezy, very breezy, and chilly.  In the hour or so that we were there, the temperature dropped at least 10 degrees and the sun all but disappeared behind the fog.  Kekoa was worried that a storm was blowing in.  Even though it was chilly, it was still so nice to be on the beach and Kekoa had a great time playing in the sand.

And of course a beach day isn't complete without some ice cream from the Penny Creamery, even if with the fog.

Inside our lovely U.V. beach tent, the sun really was bright when we first got there.

I love my Ge Ge.

So foggy as we left the beach.  Kekoa was so intrigued by this stream that flows to the ocean.  He wanted to get in it.
