Hogue park with Milan

It has been too long since I have played with my friend Milan.  I was SUPER excited to see him today.  When mommy told me yesterday that we would playing with him today, I just couldn't wait.  If it was raining he was going to get to come over and play with my new toys, but we were so lucky...the weather was sunny and we were able to go to the park.  When we went to go pick him up, he was waiting by the door, backpack on and ready to go.  I guess he was as excited as me!

We had the best time together, running around, playing on the teeter totter, "wrestling" on the slide.  Mommy loved watching us on the blacktop, playing games and chasing each other around.  I really can't wait to see him again.

Kekoa can now pump himself in the big swing!

Costco

I did it...took both kids to Costco and survived!  Kekoa was actually super excited to go. He was bummed when he thought Malia had fallen back asleep and we weren't going to be able to go.  He said, "awwww mommy, no Costco?"

Oh no, we were going. I had Malia in the baby carrier and Kekoa in the cart.  Couldn't believe I was going to Costco on a Saturday, but I had tunnel vision...focusing on my list and not looking around at all the people in the store. Kekoa ate a half of pesto and turkey sandwich!  No wonder why he likes coming...yummy food samples.

Kekoa wanted me to take a picture of him in baby sisters koala hat...

Baby Henry comes to visit

Oh, we love it when baby Henry comes.  I wish we could see him and his mama, Tessa, more often.  Malia was really excited to have a visitor and so was Kekoa.  He was so cute, trying to get baby Henry to crawl towards him.

When I asked Kekoa at dinnertime what his favorite part of the day was, he replied, "having baby Henry come over".

Thank you for coming to visit.  We hope to see you very soon!

Malia kept wanting to touch and grab Henry's face.

Henry has the best smile.

a box of bows

Malia is ready for bows in her crazy hair.  The box of bows was on our porch when we came home from SF today.  We all decided to partake in wearing one.  Kekoa chose orange, because it is his favorite!  Scott wore his bow with goggles...trying to prevent crying while cutting onions for turkey burgers.  I had a monkey bow in my hair.  Malia just looks like such a big girl with a bow in her hair!

Can't beat 18 bows in a box!
