Malia is standing!

This morning, Malia stood by herself, holding the train table.
She was estatic that she was finally able to see what all the fuss was about.  She has been watching her brother play with the train table since she was born and now she could see it all!  This little girl loves to stand.

This is what my Ge Ge has been doing, these trains are amazing!

Spy Glass

Kekoa's new favorite toy, for the moment, is this orange spy glass that he picked out at Trader Joe's.  It was his prize for finding the stuffed animal again, the black cat.  I think he has found it about 5 times now!
He hasn't let the spy glass out of his sight and has it either in his hands or in his pocket at all times. :)

peek-a-boo

Malia loves to play peek-a-boo with her blanket.
Of course when I bust the camera out, she stop playing so much...that black box staring at her face is so much more interesting!

where's my pants?

Kekoa has a little accident while playing at the park this afternoon, "mommy, I shee shee in my pants" (peed in my pants). Great! I didn't have a change of clothes for Kekoa, good thing it was time to go and we live close.

We started the walk home (he didn't want to sit on his bike because he didn't want to get the seat wet, hmmmm) and Kekoa was complaining about his wet pants. I asked him if he would like to take them off. I didn't expect him to say yes, but his reply was, "yes mommy, I walk home nunie boonie". Well, all right.

I couldn't resist snapping some photos. I think it is so sweet how innocent little kids are. Kekoa saw nothing wrong with cruising home sans pants. Can YOU imagine cruising home pantless from the park? I definitely can not! :)

tantrum

Who can believe our monkey loses it? All the pictures are always so nice, he is smiling, he is happy...but it is not always so.  Some days are tantrum free and some days are just really tough, full of negotiating and tears.
Scott just happened to have the camera in his lap and shot some pics of Kekoa in all his crying loveliness.
