This adorable outfit was a baby shower gift and came all the way from France! All the French castles are on it. I can't wait to take my baby girl to the French castles one day....

date with Buzz Lightyear
I was ecstatic to have a date with my boy Buzz Lightyear. Yes, Halloween is over, but that doesn't mean the dress up has to stop! My mom came to watch Malia so I could take Kekoa to music class, just the two of us. Kekoa was very excited to spend some time with his mama, but equally excited about wearing his costume again!
We went to dinner afterwards, just the two of us, and he sported his costume all through downtown and in the restaurant. Kekoa got plenty of double takes, I'm sure it was at his cuteness. We shared a plate of spaghetti meatballs, Kekoa was shoveling the stuff in his mouth and not concerned that Buzz Lightyear turned a nice shade of red, from all the saucy noodles that dropped into his lap. He looked so adorable, sitting with his purple hood on, using a grownup fork, stuffing his face with pasta and meatballs. We had a really great time.
I love having time to spend just one on one with each of my kiddos and Kekoa was really needing some mama time.

I couldn't wait for today to come. I had a little time to myself and spending it doing something really fun, not running errands for once!
My cooking idol, Catherine McCord, author of weelicious.com was in Los Gatos for a cooking presentation. I have been following her website since Kekoa was born, she is such a celebrity for me... I know, I'm such a nerd. I learned some tips on how to get Kekoa more excited to cook with me, which I can't wait to use. Of course I brought her new cookbook to have it signed and had some pictures taken with her too! :) I know...such a nerd. She made some of the recipes in her book, they were so delicious and so easy too. I'm hoping Kekoa will find them equally delicious.
It was such a fun way to spend a couple of hours...thank you honey for watching both the kiddos!
