Happy Halloween

Thank you Scott for carving such cool pumpkins for us this year!
What a super fun halloween we had today. Scott had the day off, which was fantastic.

We headed to Happy Hollow after breakfast. Kekoa was so excited to go with his Baba.
It was a very chilly morning, but we still had fun.  Kekoa rode all the rides with his costume on, jumped in the jumpy house, and we checked out the animals too.  Kekoa and the parrots had full conversations while I nursed Malia on the bench.
Are we leaving for Happy Hollow yet?

Scott didn't have a jacket, so "borrowed" Malia's blanket to keep him warm.
Kekoa crashed out in the car on the way home and slept for almost 2 hours in his car seat!  Normally, he doesn't nap, let alone one this long, but since we were going to have such a long day, we let him sleep. He woke up and it was time to head to Tait Street.

We went last year too. The whole street is shut down and there are costumes all over. This year, it was a little too much for our monkey Buzz Lightyear. He didn't really like it, too many kids, too many scary decorations. We went to a couple of houses, walked around a bit, and then headed home. Scott and Kekoa were a big hit though, the two Buzz Lightyears. We heard many people saying "to infinity and beyond" as we walked by them and I saw many people commenting to each other how cute Scott and Kekoa looked. I couldn't agree more.  There was the cutest little girl, probably about 18 months, following "Buzz Lightyear" around, she didn't want to let them out of her sight.

Not so sure about this Tait Street thing...

We headed home and arrived just in time for everything....Malia's bedtime and more trick or treating. Kekoa has a GREAT time trick or treating on our street but the highlight of his night was handing out candy. His favorite trick or treater??? His mama. He didn't want to come in until all the candy from the bowl was gone. So, I got a bag and trick or treated from him. He thought it was so funny.

Kekoa telling me a story.

Candy all gone!  Happy Halloween!
What an action packed day. It was the best Halloween yet. Holidays are so much more fun with kiddos, that is for sure.

So ready

We are all so ready for the big day tomorrow.  Scott has two of our pumpkins carved, they are pretty cool!

I love this double chin face!

Hmmm, slinky is pretty fun.

Costume sneak preview

And for Halloween, Scott will be....

 Baba Buzz Lightyear!

Buzz Lightyear at school

Kekoa Buzz Lightyear spends his days at school on the tricycles.  When the doors open to go outside, he is usually running out.  He and his BFF Natalie, take turns cruising each other around on the trikes or riding separate trikes and chasing each other.  It is so cute.

Halloween parade

Today was the Halloween parade at Kekoa's school.  The parade consisted of all the kids walking up the ramp, to the office, showing off their costumes, and walking back.  It was pretty darn cute.  The group shot effort at the end was so funny...always interesting to see what will happen when you try to get a bunch of toddlers together for a group picture...total chaos! :)
Kekoa enjoyed wearing his costume so much, not sure how I'm ever going to get him out of it!  He wants to sleep in it too!
Most of the kids came out of their costumes after the parade, but Kekoa wore his for the entire morning.

This is Doctor Natalie, who is obsessed with Malia...just loves her.  So, in case you haven't guessed, Malia will be a ladybug for Halloween.  Kekoa always called her ladybug when she was in my tummy, so I thought it was fitting.

I'm not doing anything mommy, I swear!

Come on over for the picture guys...

The best group shot we could get.

All done, kids scattering.
