elephant to the park

This morning we met up with Noah and his mama for some play time. It had been awhile since we have seen them. Kekoa brought along his elephant to join in on the fun. We were calling it the "elephant purse" because of the way he holds it. Auntie Cassie gave him this before he was even born! Another one of his toys he has rediscovered.




We call this the swirly blue slide.

Kekoa thought it was SO hilarious that he and Noah were swinging at the same time.

on the potty

Kekoa has been doing a great job all week going #2 on the potty. He has even been in his diaper and come to tell me he has to go. We are slowly on our way to being potty trained...I can feel it! :)
Now if we could only get him to wear his undies, he just won't put them on..is scared he'll have an accident in them.

Kekoa loves to read magazines, well ok, loves to look at the pictures as he sits on the pot. This is Scott's magazine, Surfer, and it has a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge, which Kekoa has been obsessed with ever since we visited.

sweetest things

Kekoa says and does some really sweet things, melt my heart sweet.

This evening, during our story time, Kekoa was cuddled up against me and then told the zamboni good night and kissed my belly...all on his own.

Tonight as I was putting him to sleep, he told me, "mama, baba, my favorite" (He tells me now which stuffed animals are his favorites, usually Paulie bear, but tonight it was mama and baba)

If that wasn't sweet enough, he then said, "I love you so much mama", as he bear hugged me and gave me a huge smooch. My heart was definitely melting.

Kekoa also tells me which stuffed animal he wants, while we are laying on his bed. "I want Paulie" or "I want di di" or "I want Clifford"... The past couple of nights he has said, "I want you mama" and moves the stuffed animals out of the way so he can make sure and get real close to me and snuggle.

Reunited

Kekoa was reunited today with one of his favorite toys as a baby, Octoblob. He carried it around with him everywhere...Octoblob even got to go to the park with us and go down the slide!
At dinner I asked Kekoa if he wanted a picture with Octoblob, he said "sure mama, sure" and gave me his cutest, cheese smile.
I kept telling Kekoa that Octoblob was his favorite toy when he was a baby and does he think he will share Octoblob with zamboni. Kekoa assures me "I share Octoblob with zamboni when she come out!" :)

Almost 5 months old with Octoblob...



Now 2 years later...

little blue stool

Kekoa surprised me today. I peeked in on him and found him standing on his little blue stool. He had pulled it up to his toys, and was standing on it to find just what he wanted from the top row. I couldn't resist taking a pictures of his cute little tush.
