Happy New Year!

Wow, a 71 degree beach day on New Year's Day! Scott and I joke that this why we pay "the big bucks" to live here in California...for days like this. Kekoa and I headed to the beach after his nap. I have never seen Santa Cruz so jumping with people, not even in summer (when it is super foggy). People were walking around in tank tops, shorts, bathing suits, I had to keep reminding myself that it is January.
My little monkey and I had a great time digging in the sand.
It would have been perfect if baba could have come too...maybe tomorrow we can come back when he has the day off.

Belgatos Park on New Year's Eve

This morning we were up bright and early. We were all excited, not only was it New Year's Eve, but we were going to look at a house to rent. Before looking at the house, we stopped at Belgatos park. Kekoa had so much fun. He just loves going to the park when both his mama and baba can be there.

This little blue monkey, that Kekoa named Mya, is his friend Noah's monkey. We saw Noah last night and Kekoa couldn't bear leaving his house without the blue monkey. Noah was so nice and let his monkey spend a few nights with Kekoa. :)

bubblemania

I heard Kekoa calling me into the bathroom. I thought he was done with his bath, but when I walked in, it was bubblemania with baba!

penguins by night

Kekoa and I went for a walk after dinner tonight to look at the lights. He was very excited to find the penguins and even brought along his dino flashlight.

crazy about legos

Kekoa loves his legos that he received for Christmas. After he woke up from his nap today, we played legos for a long, long time. :)
