Building forts

November 9

Kekoa was so funny this morning...so full of energy. He had the best time grabbing all the pillows he could to build forts for his trains. I couldn't stop laughing, he is quite the character.

Singing the ABC's

November 11

Finally, I got Kekoa on video...

If only...

If only every day was as easy and pleasant as today.
If only our nighttime routine was tantrum free every night.
If only Kekoa would fall asleep as easily as he did tonight more often.
If only...

solo in the tub

Kekoa is taking a bath solo now and loves it. He loves all the room he has to swim around and play. It is a nice break for me too, I can wash my face and brush my teeth while he is in the tub splashing around. Tonight was his second solo bath and he couldn't wait to get in the tub. I asked him after he had finished dinner if he would like to take a bath tonight. He said, "yes mama, take bath now". It was early, only just after 6:00, but I haven't seen him so excited for a bath in a long time. He couldn't wait to get in the water and start swimming around, it was adorable.
He was pouring water on himself telling me "I stinky mama from hiking" (we had gone hiking this afternoon)...it was so funny. Then he told me "wash the booty mama", when I told him I needed to wash his bum. :)

"di di"

Di di" (pronounced, dee dee) means baby brother and Paulie the Polar Bear now has a "di di". He came the other day, all the way from Minnesota, and is a present from Auntie M and Uncle D. I can't even begin to tell you how excited Kekoa is about di di. He came with us to school yesterday, rode in the car seat with Kekoa. Kekoa has been sleeping with him and the first thing he asked for this morning was di di. Paulie is pretty excited too. :)

"cheese" with a mouth full of cereal! :)
