Ticket to ride

Kekoa was all decked out in his Thomas wear today...hat and t-shirt, all purchased at the Day Out with Thomas. He was super excited to wear the hat today, kept saying "Kaiwei, hat" because he saw Kaiwei wearing it. (Our plan worked!)
Kekoa now likes to sit by himself on the train, instead of in a lap. After the train ride, we run down to the front so he can watch it turn around. Then we run to the other end and he can watch the train "back it up" and hitch onto the other end of the train cars. He just loves this so much.

"Hi mama"! I love this smile and love it when he says "hi mama". It is the sweetest thing.

"Da yah yah"

We haven't been to Children's Discovery Museum (aka "da yah yah" which means big duck) in a long time. The big duck that was on the roof has been temporarily replaced with a wooly mammoth, that Kekoa loves just as much. It has been hard to get Kekoa out of the house some mornings because all he wants to do is "play tacks mama, play tacks" (play train tracks). I asked him if he wanted to go to "da yah yah" this morning and he said, "Yup"! So off we went. He had so much fun and it was so nice because it was completely empty. I love watching him explore and figure things out. It is so great that he can touch and play with everything in this place!

Turning this and watching how it makes the airplane move above.

Fitting puzzle pieces together.

Looking for his favorite sabor tooth tiger. He remembers it from the last time we were here!

We played here for a good 15 minutes. Kekoa loved it, pushing buttons and putting the wires in the holes.

speaking

I really can't get over how much Kekoa can speak and how well he speaks. Each day he says all kinds of new things and strings new words together. He was cracking me up at dinner tonight...

Ouch, a boo boo!

Kekoa was so cute tonight. He didn't like that I had a band aid on my finger, wanted me to take it off. I explained that mama has a boo boo and needs to keep it on. He still was fussing for me to take it off. I asked him if he would like a band aid too. His whole face lit up as he told me yes.
What was the cutest thing was that he would pretend that his arm really hurt and would stick it out for me to kiss and make better.
He is such a little character.

Kekoa being "shy". He'll say "shy" and turn his head away. Love the milk moustache!

Kekoa is saying a special "no" right now, he sounds like a wildcat. It is hilarious.

Happy belated birthday Auntie Jenny!

Jenny's birthday was Monday, but we celebrated today! Kekoa was so excited when he woke up, Kaiwei went in his room to get him up. He was all smiles! Scott BBQ'd and I made cake. It was really fun but slightly crazy to have 3 kiddos in our small apartment! Happy birthday Jenny...we love you very much!

I missed the best shot of these 3 all playing together.

A birthday photo...

Oh my gosh, this was the cutest.
Kaiwei was picking cherry tomatoes and feeding them to Kekoa. It was perfect, Kaiwei could reach some that Kekoa couldn't, but he doesn't like tomatoes. Kekoa can't seem to eat enough tomatoes, so it was a match made in heaven.

Impossible to get these two to both be looking at the camera and both be smiling at the same time! I had to bribe Kaiwei with cake to get him to smile! :)

Kekoa was super excited when his Papa Beezy came and sat right next to him. He couldn't stop giving "Pop Pop" love with head bumps!

Make a wish...

Kaiwei was so hilarious in Kekoa's new Thomas hat. Kekoa doesn't want to wear it, but we knew if he saw Kaiwei wearing it, it would be a done deal.

Two little munchkins in the bath...
but 3 is so much better!
Mackie's first bath with the big boys. Kekoa was over the moon to be taking bath with Kaiwei and Mackie!

Mackie makes a break for it...

Jiawei, aka "Mackie" is a little godzilla. He had so much fun destroying the train tracks, such the little brother...messing everything up! :)

The boys help clean up.
