I heart my "pop pop"

Kekoa LOVES his Papa Beezy or as he says, "pop pop". He asks to talk to him on the phone all the time. It is so cute.
Tonight Kekoa asked to call him twice. We usually talk to the whole family when Kekoa is almost done with dinner, but tonight Kekoa also wanted to talk to "pop pop" before his bath. I dialed the number and Kekoa took off with the phone, telling "pop pop" all about his afternoon. He was running around the apartment, chatting away...explaining how he pushed his car around the block, that he was playing with his red choo choo, "showing" him the train table, all about his books.
I could understand everything he was saying, but I heard my dad say "uuuh haaa", you know the sound you make when you have no idea what someone is saying! :)
It was a little bit of a battle to get the phone away from Kekoa so he could get in the bath. I then translated for my dad all the things Kekoa was telling him....so sweet!

Waiting patiently for someone to answer.

Hello? Pop Pop?

All about baba

Today, when Kekoa and I came out of music, there was someone special there to greet us...Baba! Boy was Kekoa so excited. Scott was able to get the night off of work, a very special treat for us. Kekoa wouldn't let his Baba out of his sight. We played across the street on the big, green library lawn and when it was time to go, Kekoa didn't even want to ride home with me on the bike...he only wanted Baba. He was so happy to have Baba carry him and ride home with him in the car. We wish Baba could be home with us every night...we miss him so much when he's at work. xoxox

Look what I did...

Before Kekoa takes a bath, we ask him if he wants to sit on his potty. He usually tells us he wants to. Tonight he not only peed on his potty, but had a little poop too. He was very proud of himself! Good job Kekoa! I didn't think I would ever be this excited about pee and poop!

infectious laugh

I love Kekoa's laugh, love doing things that make him break out in this uncontrollable giggle. Tonight at dinner, he thought it was so funny that I was putting his little "b ball" (basketball) under my chin. Of course I kept doing it over and over, so he would laugh even more! You can hear him say "Ke Ke" too, which is what he still calls himself.

Milan's new house

This afternoon, we went to visit Milan at his new house. We will miss having them so close to us (about a 2 minute walk) but are so happy for them. The new house is still very close by and it is really nice, lots of room and a huge yard! Kekoa was really excited to go see Milan. He was all ready to go, waiting for me by the door.
The two of them were actually playing together. Kekoa was sharing pretty good, there were a couple of times that he was upset, but there were enough balls to share that both boys were happy. When I asked him what his favorite part of the day was, he said "Milan, friend"...so sweet! He also told me all about sharing crackers with him too.

This is Kekoa's pouty, tantrum face...

Sharing some graham crackers. Yum!
