Back to China

We are so sad that Jenny's mom (Po Po) is leaving tomorrow to go back to China. It just seems like yesterday that she arrived, her first time in America! She helped me take one dragon (Kaiwei) and my monkey trick-o-treating for Halloween. Jenny was in the hospital, in labor with Jiawei. Now, not even 6 months later she is leaving. We will miss her very much.
We went to Fremont today to say good-bye and feast on my famous lasagna. Po Po can't get lasagna in China! When we arrived, she was so busy, making dumplings. Her dumplings are the best. My dad was joking around that she should open up a restaurant here, I think she should think about it! :)
We hope you have a safe journey back to China and that you come back to visit soon! Ai ni Po Po!

These two were so adorable. I peeked around the corner and they were both sitting so nicely at the picnic table, sharing toys.

Happy Birthday Papa Beezy!

Today the gang came over for a BBQ dinner in honor of Papa Beezy's birthday. We all love Scott's delicious BBQ turkey burgers and Kaiwei could eat Scott's BBQ chicken all night long. He LOVES Scott's cooking!
Of course there was also delicious chocolate cake, my dad's fave. We love you very much and hope you have a great year daddy-o!
I love this picture. My dad is like a kid in a candy store because he got to lick the bowl of chocolate frosting!

Super smiley Jiawei. I love making him laugh!

Little baby feet and hands, love 'em!

Having fun with the train table!
Birthday smooches for Papa Beezy!

Watching "Shawn the Sheep", which had everyone giggling and laughing. Kekoa was actually bouncing up and down on the couch to the music.
Make a wish...

Music class

Today was the best music class ever. Both Kaiwei and Jiawei came to join us for the free demo class. Kekoa was in 7th heaven to have his best buddies there. Jiawei was so cute, making raspberry's the entire time. Kaiwei was so comfortable and showed off his dancing moves for everyone...he was not shy at all. The best part was after class. Kekoa couldn't wait to hold Papa Beezy's hand and show him where he likes to play across the street, at the library steps. Today was uber hot and Kaiwei and Kekoa discovered the water bowl. Hilarious watching them drink from it!

still sleeping

I'm scared to even put this out in the universe, but I just have to share...even if the sleep goddess curses me later....Kekoa is still sleeping, he has been sleeping, uninterrupted since 8:08 pm. Many of you may be thinking, big deal, so he's been sleeping for almost 3 1/2 hours. Well, it is a BIG deal for us. He NEVER sleeps this long, ever, without waking up and needing to be comforted. Could it be the ibuprofen he had before bed? Maybe. Could it be the night of no sleep last night? Maybe.
I was actually able to get some things done tonight (not clean the kitchen though, sorry honey). My huge accomplishment? Finishing on-line traffic school! Hurray! It is all done, a huge load off of my plate. Now I can focus on the million other things on my to do list...like packing.....

Sunshine

Finally, a warm spring day. Actually today was HOT! I was in tank top and shorts and Kekoa was in a t-shirt and shorts.
We headed over to Jack Fisher park this afternoon for a little play time with Kasper and Milan. Kekoa as having a little bit of a hard time sharing his sand toys. Aren't they so cute?
