I heart Richard Scarry

Kekoa loves to bring you his huge Richard Scarry book and snuggle in on the couch to read it, over and over and over and over again! He also makes sure he grabs Paulie, so he can snuggle in too. It is so adorable how excited he gets and points to all the things happening, on each and every page!

I love how Kekoa carries over his "BIG" book...

Emergency vehicle party

Kekoa's emergency vehicles had a little party on his high chair tray. It is really cute because before he ate breakfast, he kept finding all his favorites, waddling over to his high chair, reaching way up and putting the fire trucks, police car and ambulance, up there himself. He was quite proud of himself! Now if only I could get him this interested in feeding himself...

Get this bib off please!

oooh, my little car book...

Done with these cars!

ai ni mama

I will remember this day forever, the first time Kekoa said "ai ni mama" (love you mama). My heart melted into a big pool. I can't speak for every mama out there, but these are the words that this mama couldn't wait to hear! We were laying in bed, snuggling, and I asked him to say, "ai ni mama" and he did!! I asked him later to say it again and then he came up to give me a big smooch and hug, showing me his love. We are so lucky to have such a sweet little boy.

After music class

On Thursday afternoons we have music class. It is super fun, Kekoa loves it. It is so wonderful to see how much he has changed and grown in the year we have been going. He is no longer glued to my lap the whole time or in my arms, but will dance and cruises around the room. Kekoa also has a lot of friends in the class, Noah, Matilda, Ty, Reagan, Kasper, Isabella, which makes it really nice. He has known them since he was just months old!
Anyways, after music class, if it is nice out, we head over across the street to the library lawn to play with friends. It is pretty funny because all the kids are spread out, playing in different spots, and us mamas have to yell to talk to each other. Kekoa's favorite thing to do is climb the stairs, head down the ramp, stop and look at the police cars, and then climb back up the stairs. He does this for about an hour, until I have to drag him away to get home for dinner!

Peek a boo

Kekoa still loves to play peek a boo. He thinks it is very funny. I love it when he stands there and covers his eyes with his hands, like you can't see him or something. It is adorable. We'll say, "Where's Kekoa? I don't see him. Kekoa? Kekoa?", then he uncovers his face, like tada, here I am, with a big cheezy grin.
Well, now he has discovered he can play peek-a-boo with his cute little knit cap. We thought this was the most adorable thing of all!

Where's Kekoa?

Here I am!!
