Lights on, lights off
Ever since we went over to our friends last week for the BBQ, Kekoa has been even more fascinated with the kitchen lights. While we were eating at the BBQ, Jon was turning on and off the lights. Now in our place, Kekoa's new favorite game is "lights on, lights off". He just stares in complete awe as I turn the lights on and off, as I'm saying, "Lights on, lights off. He also likes to try and flip the switch himself. I'm pretty sure he would be content if I just stood there and flipped the lights on and off all day long! :)

New pictures
We had some amazing photos taken of Kekoa when he was 6 months old. We picked up the framed prints last week and no one loves the pictures more than Kekoa himself. He gets sooooo excited to see them. Now we have hung them on the wall and he loves to ooooh and aaah at them and just stares at the cute baby! :)
Eating a peach
Kekoa has passed his " I don't like fruit" stage and his fully enjoying all the yummy summer fruits. What he likes is to bite into them, whether it is an apricot, peach, cantaloupe, watermelon, cherries....
He loves to take big bites out of the apricots especially!

Baby in a box
This morning, as I was trying to keep up with Kekoa and his boundless energy, I noticed he was playing with the diaper box. I also noticed that he would fit perfectly inside. Instant smiles from Kekoa...the diaper box is now a "car" that can be pushed all over the apartment. He LOVED it!! The best was when we passed by our bedroom, he said "Baba" (daddy in Chinese), so we went inside the room to wake up Baba! It really is so cute how he fits perfectly.
I love the one arm hanging on! :)

Putting on my sunglasses
How smart is our baby boy?? He can put on his own sunglasses now!! Kekoa is no longer a fan of his changing table, unless I show him something really fun to play with. For the past few days, his toy of choice is his sunglasses. He has been chewing on them, playing with them with his feet, keeping distracted while I change him. Well, yesterday I put the sunglasses on his face and he though this was the funniest thing. Next thing I know he is putting them on himself and so proud of himself for doing so! Last night I was telling him to put on his sunglasses in Chinese and he did!! What a smartie pants!! I am so proud of him!
