Cute boy!

Some pictures of our cutie pie in his new outfit!

Books are his favorite "toys"! If he is playing with anything else and you pick up a book to read him a story, he throws whatever else he is playing with down.
Trying on daddy's hat!

Not so sure I want to wear this dad!
Oh the yumminess of his chunky legs! I LOVE them!

Standing

Yesterday I propped Kekoa against the jungle mat and he stood all by himself. He did have a few falls, but is very brave and couldn't wait to try again. It is so cute how proud he is of himself! Of course we are proud too! :)

Check him out!
On his way down...he grabbed one of the leaves and it came out! He fell backwards but didn't even cry!
Back up again!

Farm animal fun

It is so entertaining to watch Kekoa play. He amazes me at how quickly he learns and changes each day. I remember when he could only hit things on his jungle mat and now he is bending down and easily picking up toys, passing them from one hand to the other, throwing that toy down to retrieve another that catches his eye. He is also able to move more and more each day. When I leave him in the room to play he is always in a different place then where I left him. He rolls and scoots to reach whatever he wants.
I took these pictures the other day. Kekoa's favorite farm animal of the day was the horse (it was the pig before). He would then pick up the cow and bang the two of them together, then throw the cow down and munch on the horse. He did this a few times, fascinated with what his own hands could do.

I love how Kekoa is gripping his horse in this picture.
Don't worry mama, I've got a firm grasp!
Yum.
Hmmm, which one do I want next?
I've got the cow. Let's bang them together.

Look at me go!

It is hilarious when Kekoa picks up the whole farm and manipulates it in his hands. It is as big as he is, but he is so strong, he picks it up like its nothing!

Fun in my high chair!

It never ceases to amaze me, how much Kekoa loves being in his high chair right now. He is a very slow eater and will sit in his high chair for 30 minutes. He likes looking around, outside the window and all the other "stuff" in the kitchen. Then he takes a bite or two and keeps looking around. He is a very good eater, but really takes his time, enjoys each bite! :)
He also wants to feed himself...this is when things get really messy!

After I try and feed myself, there is food everywhere...my hands, my face, and even on the seat of my high chair!

Patiently waiting for more food mama!

I'll learn how to use this darn spoon soon!

Sucking on the wet towel is a treat for me. Notice how my foot is up and I am just lounging. This gives mama time to run the bath. I wait patiently for her instead of fussing like I used to.

A dinner time visitor! Listen for Ava and how she says, "Moose", it is the cutest thing. She came over and Kekoa couldn't stop staring at her and trying to talk to her!

Kekoa always tries to feed himself, at least once during his meal times. No food really ends up in his mouth, but always let him try. Good thing bath time is after dinner time!

We think Kekoa is going to have rhythm. Music is always on and Kekoa has been bobbing his head to the music. It is the funniest thing to watch. Mom likes to have dance parties with him often...he just laughs and laughs.

More head bobbing...
For a few days, Kekoa would stretch out his arms, fist his hands, and talk to us. It's pretty crazy how quickly he changes up what he does. If I don't video tape him fast enough, I'll miss all his new tricks!

Fun at Papa Beezy's

Jordan and Kaiwei couldn't leave Kekoa alone. It was so cute. They kept coming back to play with him in the exersaucer. This was Kekoa's first time in this thing. He liked hanging out in it and watching the big boys play.

A baseball bat! Wow! It was so cute watching Kekoa play with this big bat, flipping it all over the place. He loved it.
Future baseball star? Daddy think so! :)
I wonder if I can get this in my mouth?
Yes I can!
Kaiwei says, "Keko!" Listen for Jordan saying Kekoa.

Playing in the exersaucer.
