Another fun visit!

I just love visiting my Papa Beezy's! Unfortunately, Auntie Jenny wasn't there today, but I still had fun with Kaiwei and Papa Beezy. I get so many cuddles and quality time on my Papa Beezy's lap. I can't wait to really start playing with Kaiwei and I know he can't wait to start playing with me too.

In awe of my Papa...
Kaiwei is so silly!
Making a funny face...
Kaiwei is showing me how to smile nice for the picture...
Hmmm, what is on your chin Papa Beezy?
Yes mama? I'm ready for my picture now...Kaiwei is checking out my toys and ready to share his book!

First Bike Ride!

Another great day without rain. The sunshine is so welcoming after so much rain. I know we really need the rain here, but it makes it hard to do anything outside...especially with a baby! Today we ventured out to Fremont to visit Papa Beezy and go for Kekoa's first bike ride. I have been dying to get Kekoa out for a bike ride. The perfect place for this is at Papa Beezy's. He has a wonderful assortment of bikes to choose from...seriously, his garage has so many bikes!
Kekoa borrowed Kaiwei's cool helmet, that just needed a little adjusting in the straps and I borrowed a bike for us to ride. The bike I rode has a kids seat built in, where the bar is so Kekoa was able to sit up front on the bike. Kaiwei is a pro bike rider now and rode on the back of my dad's mountain bike in his bike seat. We all headed out to Lake Elizabeth and Kekoa was able to just sit back and enjoy the ride! He chilled and looked around the whole time. He didn't even cry when I put the helmet on him! There were so many beautiful birds at Lake Elizabeth, huge white pelicans, black cormorants sunning themselves, and all kinds of other migratory ducks.

Safety first!
Kaiwei was very excited that Kekoa was coming too!

Don't we both look sooo cool in our helmets!
Thank you Papa Beezy and Kaiwei for such a fun time on the bikes! We can't wait to do it again real soon!

Dance Party :)

I just love dancing and my mama loves dancing too! It is perfect! We have dance parties often to get us both giggling! My mama picked out the perfect song for us to groove to and I just couldn't stop laughing! I'm having so much fun! :)
Doesn't that laugh just make you want to laugh too? I love how Kekoa snuggles into my shoulder too! He is such a cuddly little guy!

Let's play Gorilla

As I was carrying Kekoa today, I noticed how he was just staring down at Gorilla, who was sitting in the moses basket. It was really the first time Kekoa has shown a lot of interest in him, so I set Kekoa down. The two of them were facing each other and looked like they were in a little boat, getting ready to float away. Kekoa had so much fun, grabbing at Gorilla's face and giving him kisses. It was so adorable!
We are all ready to float away mama!
Hmmm, your face feels a little hard!
It looks like you need a kiss...
Are those your ears?

Kisses for Gorilla...

Fun at Oak Meadow Park!

Yay, there was a break in the rain...finally! I was able to take Kekoa to Oak Meadow Park, which I've been dying to do, so he could have his first experience in a swing! We headed out to the park with our wonderful neighbors, Auntie Cassie and Ava. I was curious how Kekoa would respond, laughter, tears? I still remember taking my niece Meilani to the park for her first swing experience. She didn't like it one bit and cried. Kekoa was his usual mellow self..taking it all in. He sat in the swing and was really more interested in looking at the other kids playing on the playground, especially Ava.
Hmmm, what is Ava doing over there?
Swinging buddies, Ava and Kekoa! Ava has the cutest sunglasses on, which she kept on the entire way to the park, at the park, and all the way home. It was fun to finally have Kekoa "play" while we were at the park.

Swinging back...
Oh my goodness...look at those cheeks!!

Swinging again...I can dig this!

I also had Kekoa play on the slide for a bit. Again, he was much more interested in watching all the kids around him! He looked so small and cute sitting on the slide.
I can't wait to take Kekoa to the park again! I know we will have a lot of adventures playing on the playground! :) I love Kekoa so much and thank my amazing husband every day for working so hard so I can stay home with him. Thank you Scott!
